Mr. (The Late) CHU Kat Choon
Mr. (The Late) CHU Kat Choon , In Memory of Mr. Chu Kat Choon. He arrived in British Singapore in the last decades of the 19th Century from China as an indentured laborer. He was industrious and hardworking and was noticed by the employer who offered him to join the business. Eventually with his enterprising and entrepreneurial skills he expanded his business interests from Singapore to British Malaya and British Hong Kong.
