Xinhua Cultural Enterprises (S) Pte Ltd.（新华文化事业（新）有限公司）, 1982年由董事经理杨善才 (Yeo S. C.) 先生和几位朋友创办，位于培英街百胜楼的#02-101。杨老爱书，知道他爱书，新加坡不少老华校生或华社因房子越搬越小，杨老的书店就成了不少华文旧书的避难所。来选购华文书的人越来越少，但店里的书不下数十万册，杨老每天整理，把一些他认为重要的书籍，精心归类，有时还花钱添购，想尽办法地充实补充，到他觉得满意，可以成为一批比较完善的资料库，他就考虑把这整批的书刊捐赠给世界各地的大学或研究机构。2019年3月，捐给厦大马来西亚分校第一批图书30箱，共二千多册。2019年5月，捐赠第二批图书22箱，约1100册。7月1日，第三批20箱运抵马校，约1100册。8月2日，第四批赠书44箱在新加坡交运并于8月9日抵厦大马来西亚分校。10月22日，赠第五批书60箱。11月4日，送出第六批赠书40箱。12月19日，第七批赠书75箱抵达马分校图书馆。2020年1月16日，第八批图书50箱抵校。2020年4月8日，第九批捐赠40箱，7月15日抵校。2020年7月15日，第十批30箱，8月10日送达。疫情过后，分别于2022年12月、2023年2月、7月、8月寄来27箱、50箱、50箱和52箱。

Prof. Dr. Pat Moi (KOK) LEE（郭璧妹）, 1977年获伦敦大学化学博士，Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)化学与生物技术教授。李广贤郭璧妹伉俪，南洋大学第十四届（1973年）化学系理学士。在1987年之前，她曾在西安大略大学、瑞士联邦技术研究所（苏黎世）、德国马克-普朗克生物化学研究生（慕尼黑）、法兰克福大学等机构工作。李广贤（LEE Kong Hung）教授于1976年获得伦敦大学物理化学博士学位，曾任Curin University of Technology (Sarawak)、Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman，Malaysia University of Sciences and Technology等多间大学教职，精于中医内科、针灸，于2009年创建KHL Herbal Biotech Sdn. Bhd，亦曾任马来西亚华人医药总会顾问，马来西亚成都中医药大学糖尿病防治中心（简称“马成糖尿病防治中心”）主席等职。
