Mdm LIM Soon Lan（林春兰）, 1950年生于新加坡，祖籍海南,1972年南洋大学地理系文学士，南京大学2005年中文系硕士。1975年起先后任职于《民报》、《星洲日报》和《联合早报》以及早报属下几份中小学报刊担任记者、编辑，因应1979年吴庆瑞报告书（《新加坡教育部报告书》），编辑学生版副刊，1995年起主持学生报《星期5周报》，2009年改该周报为《逗号》，期间也接手《大拇指》和《小拇指》主编，举办艺术教育计划、文化活动、教师交流会等，坚持为学生提供华人园地，被誉为“学生报之母”。著有剧本《后代》和《生仔日记》。2020年10月，捐赠本校图书12箱。
