Confucian Private Secondary School（尊孔独立中学）, 创办于1906年，时值战乱连​​年、民不聊生的清朝末年，以及民风初开、荆棘载途的马来西亚立国前半世纪。陆佑领导华侨在吉隆坡创办了尊孔学堂，兴学倡儒，以 “ 勤、朴、勇、毅” 四个字作为自我砥砺的校训。校训充分体现了创校先贤在此历史背景下决心在后代身上培植的不畏艰苦、勤俭奋斗的刚性“尊孔精神”。 1941年日军南侵，校务停顿。1945年马来亚光复，林连玉先生主持尊孔战后复办工作。1958年，尊孔学校遵从教育法令，小学部另劈校园为“尊孔国民型华文小学”；1962年，中学部再依教育法律划分为“尊孔国民型中学”与“尊孔独立中学”。
