Centre for Malaysian Chinese Studies（华社研究中心）, 华社研究中心(华研)是一所民办的研究机构。华研的宗旨是着重于与研究相关的工作。它的角色是以下列宗旨为核心： 1. 收集有关政、经、文、教等资料及资讯。 2. 从事有关以上各项问题之研究，以灌输国民团结精神及促进社会发展。 3. 出版及发行研究成果、书籍、期刊、简讯及其他合法的出版品。 4. 举办座谈会、研讨会、展览等。 5. 提供咨询服务。 6. 维持图书馆、阅览室和资料室，以提供书籍及其他出版物品予会员作参考。 CMCS was established in 1985 by fifteen national-level Chinese associatins to serve as a community-funded research and resource centre. It is registered under the Companies Act of 1965 as a nonprofit limited company dedicated to the prusuit of research and the promotion of understanding. Tropical Literature and Art Club（ 热带文学艺术俱乐部）, 位于新加坡的华文文学团体。1990年代，一群本地文艺爱好者常到马华文学史专家方修住处谈文论艺，促成新团体诞生，并于1997年正式注册俱乐部，出版图书、刊物，举办座谈、研讨会，更从2011年起举办“方修文学奖”。俱乐部也于2022年在社交媒体脸书和Instagram开辟《雨林诗刊》，每月一期，向新马写作者邀稿。每篇作品经美编制图排版，以清新的方式在社交媒体上传播。 Generously donated 921 books to the library collection of Xiamen University Malaysia in 2022-11. |

Prof. KUA Bak Lim（柯木林）, 1948年出生于新加坡。1966年德明政府华文中学毕业。1967年进入南洋大学攻读历史系，1970年毕业，获第一等文学荣誉学士学位，为海外华人研究的知名历史学者。大学毕业后，服务于新加坡政府部门及法定机构，有多年在中国工作的经验。 柯木林著述甚丰，主要编著有《新加坡华人通史》（中英文版）、《石叻史记》、《新加坡华族史论集》等。由于热衷于推广文化活动，2019年5月获新加坡华族文化中心颁给新加坡华族文化贡献奖（个人奖）。 Generously donated 1 book to the library collection of Xiamen University Malaysia in 2022-11. |
